I will always remember how he always had time to help me when I had a query with a purchase invoice. Even when he was really busy he would always take the time to sit down properly and see if he could work it out with me. I seem to recall he would take his glasses off to do this (?) and I would pop down to his office and always be comically greeted, maybe he would jump back in surprise as though I’d made him jump or something!
